Scott joined PaR Systems as the CSIO in March of 2010. Scott has responsibility for information systems, global quality, export control, security, and continuous process improvement. Before PaR, Scott spent 16 years with Medtronic in various leadership positions. Scott has held several infrastructure positions as Desktop Support Manager, Network Manager, and European Data Center Manager. His last IT position at Medtronic was as head of IT for a billion dollar division. In 2003, Scott changed Medtronic careers into quality where he was one of the early leaders that brought LeanSigma to Medtronic and developed the corporate shared services quality system. In that role he also drove a Medtronic wide systems development and validation methodology for IT systems. In his last two years at Medtronic, Scott led the global security function.
CAPT Singer is active in the Navy Reserve and has been involved in the Gulf War and Operations Enduring Freedom/Noble Eagle. Currently he is the Navy Emergency Preparedness Liaison Officer (NEPLO) for the state of MN. In his most previous role he was the Executive Officer for Commander Pacific Fleet Maritime Operations Center responsible for supporting the communications and cybersecurity needs of the Pacific Fleet. Prior to that he was assigned as the Commanding Officer of Commander 5th Fleet in Bahrain as part of Theater Security Cooperation. Scott is an active participant in his community and serves on several boards including the Minnesota High Tech Association and the American Diabetes Association.
Scott has an undergraduate degree in Meteorology from the University of Wisconsin and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Minnesota.
