Co-chair
Senior Director, Invariant, LLC
Loren is a senior executive on Invariant’s communications and public affairs team with more than two decades of experience advising companies through launch and growth stages while managing crisis situations with effective planning, coordination, and communication.
At Invariant, Loren helps clients achieve their business objectives by bridging the gap between corporate communications, public affairs, and government relations, particularly in the fields of cybersecurity, emerging technology, defense, and national security. Prior to joining Invariant, Loren ran Dealy Mahler Strategies, a firm that she founded to help clients better integrate their internal operations, external relations, and communications strategies.
Loren’s career began in Washington DC with roles at the Department of Defense, the National Security Council, and on Capitol Hill. After leaving government service, Loren helped Fortune 500 companies and national nonprofits grow and protect their organizations at a corporate PR firm in New York. Her private sector work has included advising executives from global corporations, national non-profits, top academic institutions, growth-oriented start-ups, and public-private ventures.
Loren is a graduate of Princeton and the McCourt School at Georgetown. She is currently a Visiting Fellow at the National Security Institute at George Mason University, a Security Fellow with the Truman National Security Project, and a member of Chief, an executive women’s network.
